Hi all,

I always strive to produce the best work I can...always. It's a long path to recognition, business relationships and all that comes with it. I've never pretended to be better than anyone.....I have everything to learn and I am grateful to co-exist with so many amazing artists. I look up to a lot of people and i would be nothing without them.

This month, for the first time ever, my work has been published in 2 magazines. RISE, a French publication, and Scandinavian Tattoo Magazine, which I am not sure where it is published as it is written in some foreign language (swedish or norwegian...)

Gil Elvgren

Gil Elvgren, along Vargas and a few others, was a great pin up artist from way back (at least for my young age...). Fanny approached me with getting one of his pinup tattooed on her. This was very challenging....the face was pretty small and the details took a while. We also chose to do a duotone tattoo, using the original reds to make the greys pop. Or is it the opposite ?? Anyways, here you got both the reference and the tattoo.

Renald is a good friend of mine. I have been tattooing him for a while now. We were chillin at the shop the other day and decided it was time for his hand to get tattooed. He has a lower half sleeve anyways....so we figured we'd do no harm. All done with the Hawk.

This is from a photo taken off the "Book of skulls". Great reference book for tattooers.

Trip to Pensacola, Xmas NYE 2010

Here are a couple pieces I did during my trip to Florida over Christmas.

First one is a Gallion and a rose I did on my friend David. This is the first session of many more to come. This took right about 2.5 hours. I played with some new colors this time and tried to mix it up a little bit. This piece definitely reconcilled me with color work. Next session will most likely be in April/May of this year.

This one is a Vegas themed leg piece on Ryan. This time we added the rose with a "7" in the center as well as "hard luck" in script style just above. We also added the "13" on top. A few more hours and we'll be done.

Comme le shop est tout nouveau, forcement, je n'ai pas encore beaucoup de clients. C'est pourquoi j'offre des pieces pour la maudique somme de 100 balles suisses.

Le premier a en profiter sera Carlos, fidele client, sur qui je tatouerai le portrait de mr Freddy Krueger. Vous rappelez vous, mr krueger faisaient passer des nuits horribles a tout les gamins de la planetes dans les annees 80. Un grand mythe du film d'horreur.

Et voila, quelques mois ont passes (j'ai toujours pas d'accent sur mon clavier cainri...). Pas mal de choses ont changer, niveau boulot, niveau meufs, niveau plein de trucs.

J'ai recemment ouvert mon tattoo shop a Geneve, gracieusement appeler Black Sheep Tattoo aka BST. C'est tout petit, mais qu'est ce qu'on y est bien ! Une atmosphere quelque peu feutree, qu'en fin de compte on ne veut jamais quitter.

J'ai enfin du temps pour dessiner, m'occuper de tout ce que j'avais pas le temps de m'occuper avant.....et SURTOUT, beaucoup plus de temps dedier a chaque client qui passera sous mes aiguilles.

Alright so I have been working on David for a few months now. It's always an issue at this point, because I feel like I learn and progress every single day, so I feel like I didn't do a good job on previous sessions.

I guess this is something I'll have to learn to deal with over time....

Anyway, he had existing work, including a sweet sweet big tribal armband. I did my best with the cards I was dealt.

Alright folks, I have been following great blogs for a while now, and I feel like it's time for me to start posting in a regular manner.

Last week-end, the Evian show was happening. I saw some great great tattooers over there. My good friend Karl Marc was over there, doing some great work as usual. Karl is also a world class machine builder, and he had one made just for me.

Here is my first work with it, a first session of about 4 hours including breaks. I have been tattooing full time for 16 months now, and amongst the many issues I have, I work very very hard on putting in smooth greys. I think I did an alright job with this one.
